Hi! I’m Ariel!
I’m a disciple of Jesus, and a mother of 6, who enjoys everything in nature. This blog was created out of my love and compassion for mothers who are trying to rebuild their lives after coming out of an abusive relationship.
As someone who suffered abuse firsthand, I’m no stranger to the barriers and challenges in the way of moving forward in the aftermath. My goal is to help mothers progress to thriving while holding on to the Prince of Peace (Jesus Christ).
Domestic and relationship abuse isn’t something you bounce back from. Especially when children are involved. The journey of healing can be long and overwhelming because abusive has many layers: emotional, physical, financial, spiritual, sexual, and coercive control. Exiting an abusive relationship is lonely for many women because few people (if any) understand what you’ve experienced. God wants you to know that He *loves you*. Even now, you can live the abundant life God desires for you. Yes, right now!
Isaiah 26:6Even when you are old I will be the same, and when you are grey-haired I will take care of you: I will still be responsible for what I made; yes, I will take you and keep you safe.
More About Peaceful Thriving Moms
There’s great news! God wants to heal you and direct your path. The plans He has for you and your children are incredible. I’m here to help you take small, practical steps to rebuild your life while following Jesus.
We're not perfect, but we can (and should!) aim to improve each day. In our devotion to God. In our relationships. In our finances. In our health, and so on. As you take each small step, you’ll be amazed at how fast and wonderfully God can help you grow and succeed in every area of your life.
You may feel like your life has been turned upside down. Maybe you’ve lost hope of experiencing peace or being able to trust God with your life again. Maybe you're anxious about the future or shaming yourself for getting into that relationship and staying too long.
Maybe you're drowning in survival mode every day trying to keep you and your children afloat with no clear plans for your future. Or are you grieving the pain and consequences of financial abuse that’s left your life in ruins? Maybe you're up most nights desperately searching for ways to move forward and get relief from constant stress.
I want to help you take small, realistic steps to progress and empower you to thrive as you move forward.
And along the way, I want you to remember you're not alone.
